What is your favorite thing about your work at RGI?

My team, who has helped me build a company committed to changing the industry through our innovation -and the opportunity to create seamless experiences which achieve goals, materialize messages, engage audiences and move our client's agendas forward.

Favorite event you've ever worked on?

It is WAY too hard to pick just one over the course of my career as a favorite - but producing the program for The Atlantic Council honoring Quincy Jones, Henry Kissinger and Aung San Suu Kyi - that was clearly a once in a lifetime moment.

who are your role models?

Anyone daring enough to disrupt the status quo - most especially Kelly Cutrone, DVF, Steve Jobs, Richard Branson & my mom.

Her event production & publicity prowess paired with her passion for perfection has made her one of the most in demand professionals in the country.

After almost a decade of experience in Los Angeles producing events & campaigns for the entertainment industry, Rachael returned home to her native DC, founding RGI events & public relations in 2007; quickly garnering a nod from Washington Life Magazine in 2008 as one of the city’s premier firms - and RGI has followed up on that initial accolade by landing on the Washington Business Journal's Top Meeting & Event Planners list every year since 2009.

Rachael has produced a wide range of award-winning functions on behalf of clients such as CarMax, Hewlett-Packard, SpaceX, Project HOPE, Target, Johnson & Johnson, Comedy Central, The Atlantic Council and The Epilepsy Foundation just to name a few. Rachael is also the founding force behind the nationwide luxury consumer events A Chic Affair and A Baby Affair (and their subscription retail arms) as well as the Work It! Women's Conference. She is also the creator of the JUMP START! small business, start-up and entrepreneur PR accelerator program and the founder of DCcreatives.org, an educational resource association organization for the DC area's creative entrepreneurs. Rachael is a member of the Founders Board of DC Entrepreneur Week as well as curator of the online upscale event supplies shoppe Chic Celebrations and it's event classifieds board 'le Marche' . She is the recipient of Washington DC’s Power 30 Under 30 award in 2010 and recognized by Event Solutions Magazine as a Rising Star in 2011 & 2012. Rachael was named a one of 'Washington DC's Women of Distinction' by DC Magazine in 2014.

Rachael publishes frequent articles on the events industry and lends her expertise to various conferences, panels, roundtables and event hosting engagements on the subjects of event production & management, marketing, public relations & entrepreneurship.
 She is a proud mommy to her daughter, Anastasia, and two dogs, in Arlington, Virginia. Rachael is currently finishing work on her first book, ‘Work It! a chic & savvy script to an ultra-successful startup’ focusing on woman entrepreneurs for release in Spring 2015.
